Elisa Martin, BSW, RSW
Clients often describe Elisa as compassionate, grounded, and easy to talk to. She is passionate about creating a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Her deep curiosity about the human experience has shaped her into an ever-evolving therapist, always seeking new ways to better support the people she works with.
Outside of the therapy room, Elisa loves to dance, it’s both fun and therapeutic for her. She regularly practices somatic yoga and finds that spending time in nature, especially at the beach or in the forest, is one of her favourite ways to ground and reconnect with herself. She still loves climbing trees, swinging, and playing in nature like she did as a child… just with a little less energy these days!
She also loves cooking and enjoys the simple, everyday moments that bring creativity,
movement, connection, and a little bit of play into her life. Whether you’re supporting your child’s emotional well-being, navigating a difficult season of life, or working through past experiences, Elisa is committed to helping you develop the tools, insight, and resilience needed to move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion.
About
Healing begins when we feel safe enough to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and be met with compassion. Elisa offers a warm, supportive space where children, teens, adults, and families can explore life’s challenges at a pace that feels right for them. She believes therapy is not about “fixing” who you are, but about helping you reconnect with your inner strengths and build a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
With over 20 years of experience, Elisa has supported individuals through anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges. She takes a collaborative, trauma-informed approach, recognizing the important connection between the mind and body in the healing process. Every treatment plan is tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
